Colin has more than 25 years of experience working for municipal government and served as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Ann Arbor for 15 years. His background includes budget development, budget management, establishing fees, strategic planning, process improvement, and working with boards/commissions/council.

Colin holds a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Michigan, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He also has a Master of Art History from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
