Colleen is a CPA and Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. Colleen began consulting in the private sector in 1986. She specializes in designing and streamlining accounting functions and financial reporting for usability and readability.
Karen Lancaster is a CPA and Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) with over 30 years of public sector experience. Her background includes accounting, auditing, purchasing, budgeting, strategic planning, process improvement, policy design, system implementation, and using technology to streamline processes.
Michael is a multi-discipline private IT consultant, with over 25 years of database design and development experience. He is an experienced consultant able to interact with client executive leadership and project teams to ensure clear communication of goals, objectives, and progress at all stages of a project.
Ryan is a financial analyst having held various roles in both public and private sector consulting specializing in process and business continuity improvement and agile project management, leveraging low-code technology solutions to streamline accounting functions.
For 29 years, Andy served in various capacities in Commercial Credit with TCF Bank. He initiated the field audit function for TCF which examines the quality of collateral securing bank loans and was responsible for the commercial credit underwriting function which prepares detailed analyses of the risk factors to repayment of debt.
Matthew has earned the designations of CPFIM and CPFA from the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada, MICPT from the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association, and CFIP from the Fixed Income Academy.
He has more than thirty years of experience working for municipal government and nonprofit entities.
Colin has more than 25 years of experience working for municipal government and served as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Ann Arbor for 15 years. His background includes budget development, budget management, establishing fees, strategic planning, process improvement, and working with boards and commisions
Karleen spent 15 years working in the Accounting Department for the City of Ann Arbor, where she was promoted several times until her last role as Accounting Services Manager. She worked heavily with bank reconciliations, asset management, general ledger detail and played a significant role in their annual audit. Karleen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. She also has a Master of Accountancy from Walsh College.
Mary Ann Kornexl is a CPA with over 30 years of experience working for municipal government. Her background includes accounting, auditing, budgeting, payroll, cash management, property tax, and pension administration. She has worked in various roles at the City of Mt Pleasant including the Finance Director and City Treasurer. She also worked as Audit Manager for a local CPA firm auditing municipalities and school districts in the state.
Mary Ann is a lifetime member of Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. She served on the board of directors of Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association and served as its President.
